Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our dynamic team and help shape a positive, high-performing workplace culture. This role reports directly to the COO and combines strategic HR leadership with hands-on execution.
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (50% in-office, 50% remote)
- Remote Option: Fully remote candidates will be considered if willing to travel occasionally.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
- Align HR strategies with company objectives to support growth and enhance employee engagement.
- Partner with leadership to drive retention initiatives and a positive culture.
Talent Acquisition & Retention
- Oversee recruiting, onboarding, and talent management processes.
- Propose competitive pay, benefits, and retention strategies to attract top talent.
Performance Management
- Implement performance evaluations, goal-setting initiatives, and improvement plans.
- Drive accountability, recognition, and excellence across the organization.
Employee Relations
- Serve as a trusted advisor for leadership and staff.
- Address concerns and foster an inclusive culture rooted in respect and open communication.
Training & Development
- Develop and deliver employee training programs to promote skill-building and career growth.
- Champion a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to employment laws, policies, and procedures.
- Proactively monitor regulations and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
HR Administration
- Manage HR systems and tasks, including benefits administration, FMLA, EEO reporting, and unemployment documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or HR certifications preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience in leadership roles.
- Expertise in HR functions: recruitment, employee relations, benefits, training, and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Jacksonville region.
- Preferred: Experience managing workplace safety programs and OSHA compliance.
